ABOUT MS JORDAN

Ms. Jordan graduated high school in 1998 from Shenandoah Valley Academy, a college preparatory boarding academy in New Market Virginia. She attended Culinary School and she recently grad
uated from Texas Woman's University cum laude with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science. She also holds a A.A. in Liberal Arts with a Culinary Arts emphasis.

Ms. Jordan has enjoyed working in a professional kitchen as a Garde Manger Chef at The Gardens Restaurant in the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, Fort Worth, Texas.

“I am so excited about this school year! I know we will have a wonderful time learning
about family, career, food, and community. Most importantly, my family and I came all
the way from Texas to see a proper snowfall!”

Interesting Facts About Ms Jordan

  • Enjoys cooking, sewing, catching up on Tivo’d shows, kayaking, camping, and reading cheesy romance novels!
  • Ms. Jordan’s iPod consists of country, alternative, musicals, oldies, and classical/celtic music.
  • Ms Jordan is hugely obsessed with the BBC TV show Doctor Who!
  • Ms Jordan prides herself of being of mixed race, she is part Piscataway Conoy Indian, white, and Bahamian.
